Thomas Boykin, son of Edward Boykin II, is mentioned as a "Brother" in the will of William Boykin, probated in Isle of Wight 1747 (Ante). Thomas and his brother Edward moved to Northampton Co., N.C., where Thomas made his will April 13, 1748, probated Feb. 1750. His legatees were: his wife Mildred; son Thomas, land and plantation; to Ann Craford, Martha Thornton, Elizabeth Strickland, Patience Strickland, one shilling each.
